On 21/05/2024, Murphy & Sons Limited approached Opus Utility Solutions to provide quotations for the excavation, installation and reinstatement (including the provision of traffic management via OPUS TM) of circa 3.5km new twin triplex 300mm2 single core 11 KV HV cable. 

3 different route options were proposed by Murphy, with each option requiring an individual price. 

After quotations were submitted by Opus, Murphy then requested that a 4^th route option was priced. This quote was formulated, programmed and submitted on 03/07/2024.

After a short review period, Opus was informed that our submission was successful, and a contract was awarded on 15/08/2024.

A pre-site start meeting was carried out on 21/08/24 and the project commenced on 16/09/2024. 

Anticipated completion is currently 21/12/2024.
