Role Profile – Technical Compliance Supervisor (Jointing Supervisor)
Hours – 8AM – 4.30PM, Mon-Fri
Salary – Negotiable on experience

Main responsibilities:
- Responsibility of all aspects of day-to-day jointing supervision for Opus Utility Solutions on SPEN & SPENW contracts (SPD optional)
- Manage the technical LV & HV designs, plans and drawings and ensure jointing teams both have access to and understand them.
- Ensure 3rd party works designs are fit for purpose & in line with specifications pre-construction
- Work with the Client on designs, arranging meetings both on site and in offices to review scope of works vs policies & procedures
- Mentor operational staff to increase their knowledge of the products we deliver, specifically the technical elements
- During pre-construction work, obtain a full understanding of internal infrastructure, so we can plan out and quantify the internal upgrades
- Work in collaboration with Operational management team to plan jointing works during construction phase
- Oversee Jointing staff to ensure they are delivering in line with programme & to the right quality, in line with company & client procedures
- Act as an Electric Technical Advisor for design and construction.
- Support design to construction handover meetings.
- Update processes when necessary for both design and construction.
- Identify materials required and works with suppliers & store person to ensure the correct levels are available and good control maintained to manage & deliver the programme effectively.
- Ensure as-laids, test results and relevant documentation is being routinely and promptly being submitted by the jointing teams under your supervision.
- Support with periodic stand downs/ TBT’s – with operational staff & management.
- Perform technical audits on jointing teams as and when required.
- Work with the SHEQ Manager & Technical Compliance Manager to create a long-term strategy on our technical approach and review milestones periodically
