We’re proud to share the successful completion of a major milestone for Opus Utility Solutions.

Over the past 8 months, our teams have safely delivered the 11.4km 33kV reinforcement project between Porthmadog and Maentwrog, North Wales – completing the cable laying programme 4 months ahead of plan, following energisation this week, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

This project demanded meticulous planning and coordination, particularly when managing critical embargo periods across busy holiday towns. Extensive and proactive stakeholder engagement proved decisive, with communication delivered effectively in both Welsh and English, supported by specialist stakeholder and delivery teams throughout the programme.
